PSENslock 2

Safety gate monitoring combined with electromagnetic process guarding. Where opening a guard mid-cycle would spoil the process rather than expose a person to run-down, PSENslock 2 holds the guard closed and monitors its position, on swing gates, sliding gates, covers and flaps.

Why it is specified

PSENslock 2 provides

The device combines guard position monitoring with electromagnetic holding, and adds configuration options that matter in practice on real doors.

Reliable process protection

Holding force F1max of optionally 1,000 or 2,000 N keeps the guard closed through the cycle.

Adjustable latching force

Latching force is adapted to the door through the Config Key, rather than being fixed at manufacture.

Independent safety outputs

A version is available whose OSSDs switch independently of the guard locking status, adding flexibility in the control design.

Diagnostics both sides

Four LEDs on both sides give direct status indication regardless of mounting orientation.

Process guarding is not personnel-protection locking. Where hazardous movement continues after the stop command and a person could reach it, review PSENmlock instead, which provides safe guard locking rated for personnel protection.
