Threading, format change and adjustment need the machine to move while someone is close to it, at a speed proven to be within the safe limit.
Switching off is not always the safest response. Where an operator must observe, thread or adjust while a machine moves, the movement itself has to be monitored — and PNOZ s30 does that independently of the drive, which is what makes it work on retrofits and mixed drive brands.
