SSG6082A-V — RF Vector Signal Generator up to 8 GHz
RF vector signal generator for receiver, transceiver and communication waveform testing. It supports CW output from 9 kHz to 8 GHz, IQ mode from 10 MHz to 8 GHz, low phase noise, 1 GHz RF modulation bandwidth and protocol waveform generation with SigIQPro.
| Model | CW Frequency | IQ Frequency | Level Range | Phase Noise | RF Modulation BW |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SSG6082A-V | 9 kHz – 8 GHz | 10 MHz – 8 GHz | -140 dBm to +30 dBm | < -132 dBc/Hz @ 1 GHz, 10 kHz offset typ. | 1 GHz |
Key Features
8 GHz Vector RF Generation
CW mode covers 9 kHz to 8 GHz, while IQ mode covers 10 MHz to 8 GHz. This makes the generator suitable for sub-8 GHz wireless receiver, transceiver and RF module testing.
Low Phase Noise Carrier
Typical phase noise is specified below -132 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz and 10 kHz offset, supporting cleaner receiver sensitivity, BER and EVM-oriented test setups.
Wide Level Setting Range
The -140 dBm to +30 dBm level setting range supports receiver sensitivity checks, strong-signal blocking tests, amplifier stimulus and general RF path validation.
IQ Waveform Generation
The platform uses an internal 500 MHz IQ baseband source and supports 1 GHz RF modulation bandwidth for digital modulation, arbitrary waveform playback and protocol waveform generation.
Communication Protocol Signals
With SigIQPro waveform generation, the instrument supports common protocol signals including 5G NR, WLAN, LTE, Bluetooth and IoT workflows for R&D and production validation.
Compensation and AWGN Functions
S-parameter compensation, real-time IQ baseband AWGN and support for pre-distorted signals help flatten test-system response and simplify receiver measurement setups.
