PAM 510 Process Aerosol Monitor
Real-time monitor for simultaneous measurement of mean particle size and particle-number concentration in high-concentration monodisperse aerosols.
Model Overview
| Model | Group | Positioning | Core fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| PAM 510 | Process aerosol monitor | Extinction-fluctuation measurement for simultaneous mean-size and number-concentration analysis. | Monitoring monodisperse aerosol generators, instrument calibration and aerosol research. |
Key Features
Simultaneous size and concentration
Measures mean particle size and particle-number concentration in real time for dense monodisperse aerosols.
Refractive-index-independent concentration
Number concentration is derived from transmission fluctuations and does not depend on the aerosol material’s refractive index.
Wide working range
Covers 0.5–10 µm and 10,000–10,000,000 particles/cm³ with inlet flows from 0.1 to 8 L/min.
Direct generator monitoring
Designed for direct connection to monodisperse aerosol generators such as the Topas SLG 270.
