Key Features

Mechanical RF Switching up to 50 GHz

Use the SSU5000A family to route microwave and millimetre-wave signals in automated test benches without manually reconnecting DUT ports, antennas, filters or front-end modules.

SPDT and SP6T Configurations

SPDT models support one common port switched between two paths, while SP6T models switch one common port across six RF paths. This keeps the page honest: it is a switch platform, not a source or measurement unit.

Compact USB-controlled Module

153 × 62.4 × 137.5 mm housing with USB connectivity for compact bench, rack and production setups where space is limited.

SCPI Control for Automation

Control switching states through VISA/SCPI or EasySSU for repeatable VNA, spectrum analyser, signal generator and receiver-test workflows.

SMA and 2.4 mm RF Interfaces

18 GHz and 26.5 GHz models use SMA female connectors; 50 GHz models use 2.4 mm female connectors for higher-frequency microwave and mmWave routing.

Good Fit for Multi-port Test Expansion

Suitable for routing one RF instrument across multiple DUT ports, expanding VNA/signal-source coverage, or automating port-by-port measurements in RF production systems.

Applications

Multi-port S-parameter Routing

Automate path selection between a VNA and multiple RF ports for filters, switches, front-end modules and antenna subassemblies.

Automated DUT Port Switching

Use SCPI-controlled switching to reduce manual cable changes and improve repeatability in RF module production test.

Antenna and Array Characterisation

Switch measurement paths across antenna elements or subarrays during sequential gain, return-loss and isolation measurements.

Signal-source Path Routing

Route one signal generator to multiple receiver inputs or test fixtures for sensitivity, gain and path-loss verification.

26.5 GHz and 50 GHz Test Benches

Use the 26.5 GHz and 50 GHz variants for higher-frequency microwave and mmWave switching where connector choice matters.

Repeatable RF Test Sequencing

Integrate switching with instruments controlled from Python, LabVIEW or other VISA-based test environments.
