Field Application Engineer

Act as the technical link between customers, Primionics and technology manufacturers. The role combines requirements discovery, product demonstrations, solution selection, proposal support and application-level follow-up.

Core responsibilities

  • Understand customer requirements and convert them into a clear technical scope.
  • Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, evaluations and technical presentations.
  • Support product selection, configuration, quotations and technical compliance responses.
  • Coordinate technical questions with manufacturer application teams.
  • Support installation, familiarisation, training and first-line troubleshooting where applicable.

Profile we are looking for

  • B.E. or B.Tech in ECE, EEE, Electronics, Instrumentation or a closely related discipline.
  • Typically 1–4 years in application engineering, instrumentation, automation, test systems or technical support.
  • Practical familiarity with at least one relevant area such as PLCs, industrial communication, oscilloscopes, embedded systems, validation software or environmental instrumentation.
  • Strong written and spoken communication with disciplined technical documentation.
  • Willingness to travel and handle customer-facing work independently.
