


SDL1000X — Programmable DC Electronic Loads, 150 V / 30 A
SIGLENT SDL1000X and SDL1000X-E are single-channel programmable DC electronic loads for power supply, battery, charger, LED-driver and DC-DC converter testing. The family covers 150 V / 30 A models at 200 W and 300 W, with CC/CV/CR/CP operation, dynamic load testing, battery discharge, list/program operation, 4-wire sense compensation and remote control.

Key Features
Four Static Operating Modes
CC, CV, CR and CP modes cover constant-current loading, voltage-clamp style loading, resistance emulation and constant-power stress testing for power supplies, batteries and converter outputs.
Dynamic Load and Transient Testing
The load can switch between programmed levels for transient-response testing. CC dynamic mode reaches up to 25 kHz, CP dynamic mode up to 12.5 kHz and CV dynamic mode up to 0.5 Hz.
High-speed Measurement and Slew Control
Voltage and current measurement speed reaches up to 500 kHz. Adjustable current rise time from 0.001 A/µs to 2.5 A/µs helps control load-step severity during converter and battery tests.
Battery Discharge and Capacity Test
Battery discharge testing supports termination by voltage, capacity or time. The instrument displays battery voltage, discharge current, elapsed time and discharged capacity during the test.
List and Program Operation
List operation supports up to 100 editable steps. Program operation supports automated test sequences with up to 50 steps per file, useful for repeatable PSU, charger and production verification.
4-wire Sense Compensation
Remote sense compensates voltage drop in load cables by measuring the DUT terminal voltage directly. This matters for high-current 30 A tests where lead drop can distort regulation results.
Protection and Threshold Functions
Protection functions include OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP and low/reverse-voltage protection. Voltage-threshold control can automatically enable or disable the load based on DUT voltage conditions.
Remote Control and Analog Monitoring
RS232, USB and LAN interfaces support SCPI-based automation. External analog control and 0–10 V voltage/current monitor outputs support integration with production and automated test setups.
