Quantitative measurement of air velocity, volume flow and differential pressure — the numbers commissioning, balancing and cleanroom qualification are judged against. The measurement route follows the geometry: capture hood at a terminal, traverse in a duct, or a differential-pressure reading across a barrier.
Measure the quantities that demonstrate airflow performance
Primionics supplies the measurement technology used during commissioning, testing and balancing, and during cleanroom qualification. Commissioning itself is a process owned by the commissioning authority and the contractor — the instrumentation supports it rather than constituting it.
Velocity, volume flow, pressure and leakage
Instrumented measurement of velocity, volume flow, differential pressure and leakage, producing numbers that are compared against a design figure or an acceptance criterion.
Airflow direction and interaction
Fog-based observation of flow direction, unidirectional behaviour, turbulence and dead zones. It produces no numbers and does not replace quantitative measurement.

- Duct leakageLeakage rate of a ductwork section against the specified class.

No single instrument measures every quantity above. Velocity, temperature, humidity and pressure capability varies by model and by which probe is fitted — the product page carries the parameters that model actually measures.

Airflow Measurement in Cleanroom Qualification
Several cleanroom qualification activities are airflow measurements in substance: supplied air volume, terminal filter face velocity, airflow uniformity and room pressure difference. The selected instruments must match the required range, location, traverse method and uncertainty.
That makes this route genuinely shared between building services and cleanroom work — but the acceptance criteria come from the cleanroom specification, not from a general ventilation standard.
